I was going to find a slip over for my ottoman but I decided that I would keep it the way it is. They bring so much life the my boring beige walls and boring beige carpet. The color is great and I love the pattern. I found these cute yellow panels for a steal of a deal. I was about to make my own but then I saw a commercial for JC Penney and decided to go online and take a look. I looked at Overstock, Target, World Market, Pottery Barn and I couldn’t find anything. Luckily I had Chris with me to push me into making the purchase, he love to spend money and I tend to be a saver.Īfter I bought the sofa I started looking for curtains, I figured I could find a fun pattern or a pretty color and then build the room off of that. It’s really comfy and I love that it doesn’t take over the entire room. They had this great steel blue sofa on sale and I couldn’t resist. I started the project after a very inspirational trip to World Market. Now it is a nice spot for me to lounge, watch my favorite TV shows, and blog. Since it looks like we are going to live in this house for a few more years at a minimum I thought it was time to spruce it up a bit. Prior to the makeover it was pretty sparse and didn’t serve much of a purpose. A few months ago I decided to turn a room into our house into a “she cave” for myself.
